  • Ground dark meat chicken - 1 pound
  • Minced scallions (both white and green parts) - 8

  • Fresh ginger root (grated) - 1 tablespoon
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon

Take a skillet and place it over medium heat. Pour the oil and as it gets warm, add chicken, cornstarch and scallions and let it cook. Make sure to stir the contents constantly, till the chicken gets cooked. As the chicken starts breaking into pieces, add chopped chestnuts, ginger, soy sauce and oyster sauce into it.   • Snap green beans - ½ cup
  • Fresh mushroom slices - ½ cup

  • Kikkoman stir fry sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons

Start with chopping the vegetables. Take wok or skillet and place it on high heat. Add the oil into it and as the oil gets warm, add onions and cook for a minute. The next step is to add the remaining chopped vegetables into the wok. Stir the contents in the pan and cover it for one to two minutes.   • Iceberg lettuce - 5 leaves
  • Cooking oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Boneless chicken breasts - 2
  • Water chestnut - 1 cup
  • Mushrooms - 2/3 cup
  • Chopped onion - 3 tablespoons
  • Minced garlic - 1 teaspoon
Apart from the above said you have to prepare special sauces for this recipes. The following are the ingredients for making the special sauce.
  • Water - ½ cup
  • Sugar - ¼ cup
  • Rice wine vinegar - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Ketchup - 2 tablespoons
  • Hot mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1/8 teaspoon
  • Garlic-red chili paste - 2 teaspoons

You have to prepare another stir fry sauce with two tablespoons each of brown sugar and soy sauce and ½ teaspoon rice wine vinegar.

How to Prepare

Start with the special sauce by mixing ½ cup water and sugar, till the sugar dissolves completely. Add lemon juice, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil and ketchup to the sugar solution. Combine the ingredients well and refrigerate the mixture. You can take it out, at the time of serving lettuce wraps. Combine hot mustard with hot water and keep the mixture aside. The next step is to make the special chicken mixture. Take a wok and place it over high heat. Add oil (2 tablespoons) and chicken breasts to the wok. Saute the chicken, till both sides are done well. Meanwhile, take a small bowl and prepare the stir fry sauce by mixing the ingredients (soy sauce, brown sugar and rice wine vinegar). Mince mushrooms and water chestnuts into small pieces. As the chicken breasts get cool, mince them as well. Heat the oil (one tablespoon) in the wok and add minced garlic, chopped onion, minced water chestnuts, chicken and mushrooms. Add the stir fry sauce to this mixture and saute them for a few minutes, so that the contents get evenly coated with the sauce.
